Pain of a teenage girl
She slowly cuts her wrist
Not knowing she's taking a risk
Wanting death
Wishing to leave Earth
She hides her pain behind a smile
But at night slowly cries
No one hears
Even though she is near
No one sees
No one feels
No one sees nor feels her pain
She has nothing to give nor to gain
She died a long time ago
Only a vessel is left, an eyesore
Banished away by societies rules
Frozen tears can no longer move
Putting up a brave face
Has a fake smile just in case
Wipes and tries to stop the tears
In front of a mirror
Her heart is bleeding
Her soul is pleading
Her spirit is broken
Her dignity is stolen
The devil is leading her life
Her fate, death by a knife
First she writes a letter
A few hours later
Her body is found
Laying on a pool of blood
"Dear friends and family"
"I write this letter sadly"
"I couldn't go on"
"I felt all alone "
"I lost my will and drive to live "
"I had nothing to give "
"may we meet another day"
"Maybe in a different way"
The letter is read
Her story ends
"Sincerely your friend and daughter"
Their thoughts will forever dwell and loiter
